William R. Nuti, also known as Bill, has been the Chairman of the Board of NCR Corporation since October 1, 2007 and Chief Executive Officer and President since August 7, 2005. Mr. Nuti has been an Executive Director of NCR Corporation since August 7, 2005. Mr. Nuti joined NCR in 2005 and is credited with the reinvention of it, transforming the way consumers connect, interact and transact with business. Mr. Nuti served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division from December 30, 2003 to August 1, 2005 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from July 2002 to December 2003. He had overall responsibility for Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division's global sales operations, engineering, global systems services and human resources functions and the product business units. He joined Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division in 2002 following a 10-year career at Cisco Systems, Inc., where he held a number of global leadership positions. He served as Head of Cisco's U.S business at Cisco Systems, Inc., until 2002. He served in management positions at IBM, Network Equipment and Technologies and Netrix Corp. He served as Senior Vice President of EMEA Operations at NetSys Technologies. At Cisco Systems, Inc., Mr. Nuti served as the Senior Vice President of U.S. Theatre and Worldwide Service Provider Operations, responsible for field operations, systems engineering, professional services and marketing for the global service provider arena. He was responsible for more than $15 billion of Cisco's global revenue stream. He also served as Senior Vice President of their United States operations as well as their Senior Vice President of their global service provider business at Cisco. Earlier, he served as the President of Cisco's Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. He served at Opus360 Corp. He directed the service provider sales operation in EMEA and oversaw Cisco's investment in strategic alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions throughout EMEA. He has been a Director of United Continental Holdings, Inc. (formerly, Continental Airlines, Inc.) since December 4, 2013 and Coach, Inc. since May 2014. He serves as a Director at United Airlines, Inc. He served as a Director of Sprint Corporation (formerly, Sprint Nextel Corp) from June 2008 to July 10, 2013. He served as a Director of Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division from December 30, 2003 to August 1, 2005. The NCR Corporation (abbrev. National Cash Register) is an American computer hardware, software and electronics company that develops, manufactures markets and provides products and services to customers worldwide that enable businesses to connect, interact and transact. Its main products are self-service kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, automated teller machines, check processing systems, barcode scanners, and business consumables. They also provide IT maintenance support services. NCR had been based in Dayton, Ohio, starting in 1884, but in June 2009, the company sold most of the Dayton properties and moved its headquarters to Metro Atlanta. NCR was founded in 1884 and acquired by ATT in 1991. A restructuring of ATT in 1996 led to NCR's re-establishment on 1 January 1997 as a separate company, and involved the spin-off of Lucent Technologies from ATT. NCR is the only ATT spin-off company that has retained its original nameā€”all the others have either been purchased or renamed following subsequent mergers.
