Mr. Lundgren, I have been a Macys customer for many years and have never been late on my credit card payment for the ten (10) years that I have had it. On August 31, 2017 my minimum payment was $27.00,which I scheduled a $30.00 online payment for the 1st of September. Around the 3rd of September I received a phone called advising me that my payment had not been received, which I know I made. However, when making the online payment it stated that I needed to change my password. I did and chose a different one than usual and made my payment. I am wondering if this had anything to do with the non receipt of it. I called and spoke with a representative Jonna and explained what happened. He apologized and waived the late charge but advised me that my normal monthly payment for October would go up and additional 1% of the total balance to $49.96. I feel that this is wrong as my payment was made on time. I asked to speak with his supervisor. Joanna spoke with me and told me the same information. I asked for her supervisor. She said that someone would give me a call back in 24 hours and to date I have not heard from anyone from your office. I know this amount can be adjusted and I am perturbed that no one has called me back in two weeks. I believe there was a glitch in your system when it had me change my password, and I should not be penalized for it. I would like my normal monthly payment to remain at $27.00 and not be charged the extra 22.86 overage. I am on a budget and would appreciate your attention to this matter.
