Mr. Greg L. Armstrong has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PNGS GP LLC, General Partner of PAA Natural Gas Storage, L.P. since January 2010. Mr. Armstrong serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Plains Pipeline L.P. Mr. Armstrong has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Plain Holdings GP LLC, a General Partner of Plains GP Holdings LP since August 2007. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of PAA GP Holdings LLC (formerly, Plains All American GP LLC), the General Partner of Plains GP Holdings, L.P. since July 2013. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Vulcan Energy Corporation (formerly, Plains Resources Inc.) from October 1992 to December 1992, and served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from June to October 1992. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Plains Resources Inc. from 1991 to 1992 and served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1984 to 1991. Mr. Armstrong served as Corporate Secretary of Plains Resources Inc. from 1981 to 1988 and Treasurer from 1984 to 1987. He has been an Independent Director at National Oilwell Varco, Inc. since March 2005 and serves as its Lead Independent Director. He has been a Director of Federal Reserve Bank Of Dallas since January 2015. He has been a Director of Plains GP Holdings, L.P. since September 1998. He serves as a Director of the Petroleum Club of Houston and the Independent Petroleum Association of America Southwest Texas Region and is a member of the National Petroleum Council. Mr. Armstrong served as a Director of Varco International Inc. from May 20, 2004 to March 11, 2005. He served as an Independent Director of BreitBurn GP, LLC., a General Partner of Breitburn Energy Partners LP from October 2006 to March 26, 2008. Mr. Armstrong holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
