Cindy sent a message to Glen F. Post, III President and CEO, CenturyLink, Inc. that said:

Mr. Post,

Hello. My name is Cindy. I live in North Carolina. I recently contacted CenturyLink (12/17/15) and signed up to have internet service installed at my home. The install date was set for 12/30/15 with a 12:00-4:00 arrival window. The technician did not show up or call. I called twice that evening and after being on hold for approximately two hours between the calls, was told we would be rescheduled for 12/31/15 with a 12:00-4:00 arrival window. Again, the technician did not show up and did not call. I have made multiple calls and even spoke to a supervisor who informed me that the technicians were so behind they didn't have time to call. AGAIN, I rescheduled for 1/7/2016 with an arrival window of 12:00-4:00. AGAIN, the technician failed to show up and I have received no phone call. I have left messages on the Facebook page, talked to countless customer service reps and supervisors and I am at my wits end. If this service had not been a Christmas gift for my son, I would have already told you all where to stick your service. (Pardon the crude comment but at this point I am more than just a little upset and frustrated). I am writing this to you because this is obviously a big problem. I've never had this kind of issue with any other company I've done business with, ever. This is unacceptable and no one that I have been able to speak with up to this point seems interested in a remedy for this problem. Their remedy is to reschedule me and page the technician. Obviously, that isn't working. Each time I have had an appointment, I have taken the day off work and I do t get paid when I dont work. I cannot afford to keep doing this. I have talked to over 20 local friends who have service with you all and none of them have anything good to say. We are all stuck with your company because we live in a rural area and our options for Internet service are very limited. If I was the CEO of a company, I would want to know how it was being run.

I would be more than appreciative if you would look into this matter. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Cindy
