Vanessa sent a message to J. Paul Raines - Chief Executive Officer of GameStop Corporation - Email Address that said:
I have spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved and everyone I speak to is very dismissive and shifts the responsibility to someone else. They say it is a new employee, they couldn't find my number even though it is in email or they keep transferring my call.
My son has a power up account BUT I have it blocked so he cannot use it without me being present. Yet the last times he has gone to the mall they have let him purchase it without me present. I even emailed WHICH NO ONE EVER RESPONDED to and I let the store know, they could NOT have cared less. He traded in games which he is not allowed to do, he got pennies on the dollar for what I paid. He has Aspergers and we give him some freedom BUT that is why I have the account blocked from purchases. CAN ANYONE RESPECT THAT????
He received $83 in credit for return, games that I paid well over $500 that I had planned on selling elsewhere. HIS ACCOUNT IS BLOCKED FROM PURCHASES. The store is incredibly inconsistent with this sometimes. I have returned items and they acknowledge that it said that he cannot buy without my consent BUT they still did it anyways and today was the worst one. I emailed about the last incident BUT you never returned my email or call.
I am not exactly sure how to fix this. I will be expecting a full refund of the XBOX controller and I as well expect ALL the trade in games back. I do not expect a phone call back from you because you have shown that you don't care though I STILL WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU AND I will be calling your corporate office first thing in the morning as well as going to the store as soon as they open.
Because of my sons limitation, he is fixated on Gamestop it is his dream to work there but he does have limitation and you blatantly take advantage of them. I have explained to your employees several times but once again no one cares.
The last time I had this issue I was told "swift action" would be taken because it was considered a serious matter
