Barbara sent a message to Marvin R. Ellison - President of J. C. Penney Company Inc.- email address that said:
I purchased a mattress from J C Penney last year ion December 17, 2014. I paid $1,725.63 for the mattress. When it was delivered on December 30, 2014, it had a huge hump on one side. I called immediately and was told that the mattress needed to settle. So I accepted that suggestion. The mattress did settle for the most part. However, after sleeping on the mattress for about 6 months it began to keep my husband and my body print in the bed, even after we were out of the bed. So I turned the mattress think that that would solve the problem. It did not. After six month the bed has our body prints all the way down. So I called customer service and they sent someone out. However the person they sent out said that the bed was dented in only a forth of an inch. I'm sure you can imagine how deep it is with us in bed. Anyway, I was told I had to wait until the bed was dented in one and a half inch. I have spoken to several people about this matter without any acceptable response. I was told to keep calling every 90 days to have someone come out to measure the dents and once it reached an inch and a half dent something could be done. I am hoping that you will be able to resolve this issue to my satisfaction. Since I have been a loyal customer since the 1980s. I would like a new mattress that will not hold my body print after I am out of bed. Thank you for your anticipated help in this matter.
