Paul sent a message to Marvin R. Ellison President of J. C. Penney Company Inc.- email address that said:
Dear Mr.Ellison:
My name is Paul and I live in Fresno, CA. I was transferred out here from Tuscan with the JC Penny Service department to open up a service, parts and warehouse. I organized the appliance , television and parts dept. I worked directly under the retail operations mgr, Ron Fisher. I was recommended by the district service mgr. Norm Goble from Tuscan, Arizona, to head up this new operation in Fresno. We were one of the most successful service operations for Pennys. After leaving Pennys I went on to open my own service, parts and installation operations." Pauls Certified Appliance Company " After great success in the service field I ventured into appliance retail sales. I opened Bilstens Appliance Gallery. To stay ahead of the curve,I turned a regular appliance retail location into the first high end appliance retail store that consisted of million dollar vignettes. One of the reasons for our great success was my service background so we could offer a complete package of sales, our own delivery, installation, parts and service department which gave us a great advantage over the competition. I then went on to capitalized an untapped market, at that time of new scratch and dent high end appliances. I opened five scratch and dent appliance outlets in CA and Nevada. When the bottom fell out of the economy in 2008, I was forced to close the stores. I am writing this because of my extensive experience, not only with JC Penny but with the appliance industry in general. If I could be of any assistance to you and Pennys into the appliance arena please contact me.
I am very impressed with your background and success. I too have a similar story of working my way out of poverty into a successful life.
