Luca sent a message to Michael OâLeary CEO, Ryanair Email Address that said:
Dear Mark,
I am just one of the many people frequently flying between Rome and Warsaw. There are really many people like and me and with the same needs.
I believe that the current Ryanair flight schedule between Warsaw and Rome is really not designed for the real needs of people travelling between the 2 cities to meet their beloved ones or families, so preventing often to fly due to the flight schedule proposed by your company now.
There are more and more people with interests between Warsaw (and surroundings) and Rome (and surroundings) and the same applies to Milan. Business travelers or workers travels are increasing a lot if you think how many international companies have moved and are moving part of operations to Warsaw, PG and SAS from Rome to make an example or Accenture and Groupon from Milan and many many other, smaller and large companies.
Your current time schedule makes it very hard to fly on weekends between Warsaw and Rome, both after the working week and for tourisms, as you don't have evening flights during weekends.
People who work in a city and having family or beloved ones in the other city need evening flights. If these peoples offices close on Friday and they want to go back to their city, they need an evening flight otherwise you are not letting them take a flight and come back home. They just cant take a 1pm or 11am flight or can do it rarely so you are preventing them to travel regularly. The same is for weekend tourists in Europe, they need a flight after work on Friday that takes them back in the evening of the following Sunday. All the rest prevents you to travel or travel often.
And tourists staying longer, that are really many from Warsaw to Rome (or Milan) and now viceversa, just dont care much of when the flight time is since if they are staying for more than 2-3 days in the weekend, they can take a flight anytime when they have 4 to 7 days to stay.
Now, you are rightly investing in the Warsaw to Rome (and to Milan) routes and i can't just understand why you as a company cant make it easier for people in need (that are really many) to travel on evenings during weekends as Ryanair and all the other companies do for relevant cities in Europe.
Do you think we will ever start having regularly (not only during hot months) Ryanir flights after 6pm on Fridays and Sundays between Rome (or Milan) and Warsaw?
This would much enhance the life of people moving between Italy and Warsaw and i can tell you that there are really many so it would also be of much business interest for your company as you are currently losing many passengers from people prevented to travel more often or chosing another company. Hope you will make this happen as valuable for both the customers and your company.
A frequent flyer to whom you are currently making the life a bit harder than it could be 🙂
