I came to the bank just to cash my check and know my balance.I only wanted to know if my account is still active or expired and a person named ERICK at your 1277 Liberty St, Springfield, MA 01104 location and told he can't help me, and that I need a passport or another ID, because my state ID says "identification only" and that its policy. Since when is a STATE ID NOT A VALID FORM OF IDENTIFICATION? Every state ID says IDENTIFICATION ONLY!!!!!! ERICK DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING PERIOD. I waited for ten minutes just to cash my check and know my account balance! HOW CAN SOMEONE WORK AT A BANK AND NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A STATE ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE? Absolute nonsense and so sad that citizen's bank employees are this incompetent. ERICK was extreemely rude telling me that I have a crazy attitude and that he won't cash my check or help me because my STATE ID SAYS IDENTIFICATION ONLY! I repeated myself and told ERICK that this STATE ID is valid and ive NEVER had any problem with my STATE ID before. ERICK then told me hes not helping me and picked up the phone in front of my face and stated talking. ERICK didnt even tell me what he was doing or anything! So RUDE! Then eric asks me for an expired ID that I had showed him already saying he can use my valid STATE ID with an EXPIRED STATE ID just to cash my check!!!!!!!!!! I have an account this makes absolutely no sense AT ALL. I asked for a mananger and ERICK rolled his eyes and laughed saying there is no mananager and I'lll have to wait until later on to see one? SINCE WHEN IS THERE NO MANANAGER ON DUTY? Erick then proceeded to cash my check as he was told to by another teller and then told me that he doesnt have all hundreds as i requested and told me i have to get fifties instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I then told him i needed hundreds!!!!! ERICK then told me I had to find the hundreds myself!!!!!!!!!! ERICK also had huge earring in his ears which are extremely unprofessional just an fyi.

ERICK had such a bad attitude with me and seemed to be very defensive as to my complaint about him. If this is how Im going to be treated then I'll just take my moneys elsewhere and be treated much more professionally and have competent people working at another bank!!!!!!!!!
