My name is Tamika. On December 16th 2015 I was contacted by Raymond at the Family Dollar in Littlerock, CA stoe to come in for an interview. On the 17th I went to the interview and it went well. He gave me a paper and told me to go and take the drug test. I went the same day but was not informed that they stop at 1 pm doing drug tests so I went back the next day on the 18th of December. I asked them how long for the results and they said about 5 days. Set-up for the store was supposed to start on January 6th 2016 according to Raymond. Days prior to that I called him and asked about the results. He said that they were still pending and that when they came in he would call me and tell me to report to the store. Every couple of days I was calling and same result. He said it was about six people with the same problem. The end of January is here and the store opens so I call back but spoke to another manager because he was not there. I called HR thinking that they had a solution to the problem on January 18th 2016 and I spoke with Quesha who said that she sent an email to LabCorp and was waiting a response. I keep calling back and they keep telling me that Quesha will call me with a response when they answer the email. As of today 2/10/15 still no response from HR. I got in contact with LabCorp and said that they could not give me the results but the employeer could call and get the results. My problem with this whole situation is that I am not getting any response other than pending from Raymond and HR. Someone needs to make a call to them and get the results. As a result I feel that the situation was handled inappropriately and it seems that no one cares. I was hired pending my drug test and background. I am sure that the position has been taken by now but it is the principle of how a company can deliver results of such. I did the requirements for the job on my end but Family Dollar has neglected my whole concern as oh well the store is already open. I do not appreciate this and would like someone to call me and discuss the issue with me. It seems as the staff at HR is incapable so I have moved up the chain. At your earliest convenience .
