I have read your profile. Nice to know you know how it is to work at a store level.
I have been in retail most of my life and love customer service. The store in Owensville,Mo has not been open for a full year yet. The town loves the Dollar tree.
Working for the store has also been fun and exciting.
On the other hand, we lost our Store Mgr. due to unrealistic expectations and unfulfilled promises by the district manager. We might lose another one due to the district manager same attitude.
Understaffed to fulfill all requirements asked by her. Not sure she has every worked at store level. The morale at this new and beautiful store is shot. I don't like to see the coworkers not give a crap because the district manager is constantly cutting hour to get the job done.
Please look into this, I like working for the company. It frustrating to keep going through store managers because of one person who may not really know how the company works from the ground up.
Again, this is a great store and the staff are great people. District manager not much help or supportive in my eyes.. Again unrealistic expectations and has no solutions to help.
