My husband and son were shopping at the Carmel Mountain Tj Maxx, when an overhead sign fell on my sons face. He was badly shaken up, and has a fairly big cut very near his eye. When my husband reported this, there was just a brief apology.
My son is 9 years old, he was just walking around when this sign fell - it could have easily been much worse given the proximity to his eye.
I'd like more than an apology - I want to make sure that there is something done about signs and making sure they are firmly fixed. There was no request for a follow-up by your store, nor any real acknowledgment of his injury.
You have tons of small children through your stores - I'd like to know that you are making it a safe place for them to be in.
