Kevin sent a message to Marc Caira ,President and CEO, Tim Hortons Inc. that said:
Dear Mr. bonikowsky,
I have been a Tim Horton customer long before I was ever able to purchase your products here in America. I absolutely love the menu and items that your company offers, I see your company as a viable contender against America's already saturated coffee markets. However one issue that will likely come up when expanding is the great presence of competitor brands already saturating almost all viable infrastructure with locations. I have been contacting your company via phone and messages attempting to offer to beautiful locations (one of which is in-between 2 dunkin donuts within a quarter mile) but my attempts have been non-yielding, when I contact the Tim Hortons it sounds like the operator is reading a generic statement about how Tim Hortons would not like to expand to this area I am centrally located in the Tri-state area in central NJ there happens to be a tim Hortons opening close by in a few towns over Somerville NJ. I believe in your brand and products I do however see flaws in the process when you are in a growth stage such as you are for America not considering strategic partners along the way will not serve in your best interest. Discouraging franchisees will only create a road block in an already competitive market. My name is Kevin the advice above is free give me a call at your earliest convenience if you beLieve in growIng your brand in this market.
Thanks
