Mr Creed: Tonight, I purchased a pizza and picked it up myself. I waited patiently while an employee took a young family's order who had 3 small children and a baby being held by her mother who placed the baby on the counter in a sitting position in diapers and then let the baby stand in bare feet on the counter right where one pays and takes our pizza. Your employee seemed to enjoy talking to the baby unaware someone else was waiting for their order. I'm amazed how your employee could not see the filthy situation she allowed to happen. No wonder Chipotle and other food companies get into trouble and can make customers deathly sick. Do you not have a training class for something so obviously wrong? I almost walked out without the pizza which I suppose I should have but if I return they may retaliate in some way. This was on Stratford Rd in Winston-Salem, NC. I'm very disappointed in tonight's service and unable to get my head around something so elementary in regards to good hygiene.
As my pizza was placed on the counter the employee took the family to their table and , I guess, expected me to wait until she took care of their needs and seating. I left my money on the counter and took my pizza and left.
On second thought, I suspect I'll go elsewhere in the future.
It take years to get a good reputation and 5 minutes to lose it.
Put a SIGN on the counter from corporate if your employee has no regard for the health of Pizza Hut customers. Also, I should alert our Health Dept to check these situations out.
