Hello. My name is Hillary and I am a fifth grade math and science teacher at Agassiz Elementary on Chicago's Northside. I emailing to ask for an in-kind donation. This year, I have been focusing on health and wellness with my students. I wrote and received a grant for a learning garden and have created a gardening club at my school to teach child about healthy eating habits. My next big passion is getting kids physically active. That is why I have written a grant through donorschoose.org for a class set of standing desks. Standing desks burn calories and improve learning.
