Mr. King,
We have been members of the bbt banking corp for many years. We have used bbt for all of our loans and financial needs. We recently have tried to get a home loan,
First, our local branch does not do this, we have had to do all paperwork over the phone or via email. we have had to send tax documents via fax twice (aprox 40 pages) which would have been resolved in one trip had we had a local branch to handle this to sit and talk to us about what we need.
Second, we are currently working with 3 different loan officers to fulfill the loan needs. Two of these people needs tax papers sent, one also needs our ein, papers for a business unaffiliated with the loan, one needs a lot of LLC paperwork. (All of this could have been handled at a local level and with one person to avoid making this such a headache!)
Third, we started this loan process before Christmas 2015, it is currently 3/17/16. I am trying complete this loan but at the same time I have to ask myself is this all work the hassle.
We have excellent credit, and a bbt business loan that is paid on time never late that will be paid off soon. Point being why is this such a difficult process. This has stressed me out way more than I feel is necessary for a $17,000 loan!
