michael sent a message to Michael O'Leary' CEO, Ryanair Email Address that said:
Hi Michael. I respect your company and the idea. But I think you can do better. We are always hit by sales pages that come up in front of us trying to sell services. It is VERY annoying and I personally feel that we are OVER whelmed by all this sales stuff. It is like having a sales person coming out of a restaurant and trying to drag us into his restaurant.
We avoid that place.
Your website needs to bring in amatures to test what happens when they try to book a flight/flights.
It is nearly perfect but has a few problems with auto fillins and inablilty to add 2nd passengers. (Reverts to one).
I think that being VERY honest is the best policy. I associate Ryanair with this. But the follow on sales that hit you with extra add ons is, in my humble opinion, taking away from the potential image.
We are all being bombarded with pop up pages that try to sell us new-letters. Subscriptions and so on.
I truly believe that if Ryanair was to genuinely offer "reminders" rather than large intrusive distracting pages, you would do better. A small page after booking reminding a customer that they may need an extra bag, return flights, better seats, and so on, will go down better.
W, as customers, are stressed out when we are trying to book flights. We do not want to be bombarded with extras when booking. We just want to get the times and places right. After the booking we might then be less stressed and more likely to buy an add on.
You would get less complaints and mistakes and look good.

Mike
