Jack sent a message to Greg D. Carmichael Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third Bancorp Email Address that said:
Mr. Carmichael,
I opened up my account in November 2015. I was very excited because your bank offers a military account. I opened the account in the Kroger on Roswell Rd in Marietta GA. Only 2 weeks after I opened the account, that branch had a personnel turn over so it was different people working their. From that point my experience with the customer service was horrible. I tried several different Kroger locations and once again the customer service and friendliness was a huge disappointment. Then when I opened the account, your bank had the offer of receiving 200 if you did certain things. I did all of those things but not in the first 30 days, which I didn't know had a time constrant, so they would not honor that offer for me. This weekend I went to the Kroger branch at Macland Rd in Powder Springs GA and OMG because the experience I received I will be closing this account and moving my banking business to anouther bank. I asked the very nice black young lady teller to speak with a banker because I had some questions the teller could not ask. When the young black girl came out, I jokingly and playfully joked with her and she instantly became extremely rude and told me that I needed to go to a different location because I made her to uncomfortable to help me with my banking questions. After that final bad experience, I am sorry to say that as a combat Veteran, I have to take my banking needs to anouther bank. I am writing this letter to let you know that your bank needs to train and give customer service at all of your locations before you loose every client you have.. Your branches inside the Krogers in Marietta GA lack good professional customer service. Outstanding, personable, friendly people is what makes people want to do business. Your Kroger locations have very poor customer service. Your telephone banking is good to go but I need to be able to do business in person more than I do over the phone.
Sincerely.
Jack
