Elaine sent a message to Roger S. Penske Chairman of the Board and CEO of Penske Corporation Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Roger S. Penske.
My name is Elaine I live in Wellington Fl. . I first contacted you back in 2013 when I finally leased a 2013 Murano. At that time I wrote you as to how disrespectful the Manager of the Royal Palm Beach sales office was to me. I suspect you or one of your staff spoke with the manager and I thought I was getting a good deal when I signed for 3years with 15,000. per year. At no point was I informed that the more mileage for a year costs you more! Right now my car has about 23,000. miles on it. I do not use it much as I have been quite ill at times but I'm fighting the good fight. I'm 81 and do not feel able to handle the Murano any longer nor do I think I will be driving much at all for medical and financial reasons. Maybe you have an old race car your not using anymore that I can borrow for a few spins around town. I am on my own and I'm dreading having to go back to the dealership to return the car. I have heard nightmare stories of how they tag on all kinds of fees for all sorts of things that are not really legitimate. I have taken excellent care of the car however it does need filters of some sort. I have been told my tires are fine and do not need alignment. I also had two incidents where a shopping cart ran into side of my car and another incident that happened while parked again in a large parking lot. I'm having those dents and scratches taken care of before I turn in the car. It should be next to perfect less 3 years normal wear and tear. It has always been garaged.
I'm telling you all this hoping that you will actually get this email and help me out by seeing to it that I am not pressured into buying or releasing a vehicle. I actually have a $500. credit from original purchase. In any case I'll be returning the car with about 27,000 miles over 3 years and paid for 45,000. Paying $350. per month from May17 2013. However they have me due for LAST payment of $350. June 17 2016. I figured 36 months would end May 17th 2016. Paying a total of 36 payment of $350. X 36 =$12,600. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I just went looking for contract which I leave in glove compartment but it has disappeared?? I have not had any work on the car done any where but at Royal Palm Beach Fl. Dealership excepting oil change and tire rotation. I will be bringing the car back in when I find out the date it is due or a few days sooner. Think it would be June17 2016. I'm going to call the office now and ask for a copy of the contract/agreement.
Please advocate for me so that I will not have to be nervous and stressed over bringing back the car and them wanting to charge me for all kinds of things that are not necessary. I'm going to try to find some one to come with me that day but if not I'm on my own.
By the way I neglected to say that I enjoyed the Murano very much. It rides smoothly and very dependable. It is the best car I or my late husband ever had and we had quite a few. As the kids say "It rocks"! My grand daughter who will be driving this year asked me if she could buy it and I said sure if you have the money. You have college first to concerned about(: So young, old and in between loved the Murano!
I will hope you will help me once again.
Thank you and God bless you!
Elaine
