Dear Mr. Raines,
On March 10, 2016, I purchased a game online from GamesStop and paid an extra, $7.99 in shipping to insure that it was received by me in time for a birthday on March 19th.
Instead of receiving the game by the 17th, I received a notice from UPS that the game was delayed until the 21st. I immediately called your customer service phone number and waited 45 minutes to speak with someone. He assured me that once the game arrived on the 21st, I could return it using the âenclosed return labelâ and would get a refund since I had to buy the game from another source for the Saturday birthday. The Customer Service Repâs name was Jun. Jun assured me I would get a refund to my credit card for the cost associated with the delayed game.
When I received the game today, there was NO return label, let alone a return address. And none could be found online! Really????
This forced me to call your 800 number again and wait 50 minutes for help. Again.
The gentleman, Rich, said to check my email, a return label was just sent. NOTHING came. He them proceeded to tell me my refund, once I did return the game, would be in GameStop credit. No thank you. I have had to purchase the game elsewhere. I just want my money back.
Have you had the opportunity to see all the negative talk about GameStop on the internet? I am amazed! All I want is a return address label and a refund of $114.46 to my credit card.
I waited for a Supervisor to come on the line so I could get my money refunded to my credit card. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, they hung up on me. How unhappy am I???
Fortunately, Amazon Prime has excellent customer service, 2 day shipping and all the games we could want.
If this how customerâs are treated, itâs no wonder your stock price has dropped so low.
It would be lovely to hear from someone who can help me with this matter.
Amy
