Thomas sent a message to Christopher J. Nassetta President and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Worldwide Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Nassetta: I rarely spend my time complaining about travel, its become so common to have bad experiences that its not worth it. But in the case of the Waldorf at Casa Marina, I'll make an exception. My trip advisor review of "what a dump" has gotten me responses in total agreement. I only began to vent, but will continue until I get some response other than "we strive". A "suite with a balcony" opened into a second floor interior stairwell. The temperature was 54 degrees and couldn't be adjusted, with no response all day from the desk. The room was dark and looked out onto an alley. $700 per night. I had planned a trip down through the Keys, with a final stop at the Waldorf. It ruined our trip, and gave me a bad taste for Hilton. I got no response from the hotel. This was a great hotel as a Marriott, seems the others posters agree. What happened? Word spreads fast on the internet,
Thomas
