Merrie sent a message to Marcelo Claure- the chief executive officer of Sprint Corporation- email address that said:

Last fall when Clearwire quit providing internet service, I contacted Sprint to transfer service. I bought and paid for a modem that I was told would work. It did initially but service became very erratic. I contacted customer support on numerous occasions. I was told that the modem was not working and directed to the Sprint store in Abilene Texas to exchange for a working one. There was not one available. And I was told that Sprint could not provide me with service. I cancel the service as a result. I would like to have the price of the non-working modem returned. I have NOT had any successful help in resolving this at the Abilene store. You may contact me through my email address or by phone
