My name is Urvashi , 17, living in Mahavir Enclave , New Delhi and would request you to kindly help me with my higher studies funding.
I have just completed my class 12 examinations from Mount Carmel School Dwarka sector 22 and have taught tuitions for four hours daily to manage the expenses of my study there and even after that I expect to get above 80% in the CBSE examinations this year .
Sir, with my dedicated hardwork I have cracked the entrances in the University of Westminster and Lancaster University , UK for a joint BA Hons course in English Language and Creative Writing.
However, my family's financial condition is extremely unstable because of which I would not be able to pursue my dreams if not provided with a financial support. To be able to study in the UK, an approximate amount of Rs.40 lakhs is required but because we do not have a collateral to provide, the most we can take from banks in Rs.7 lakhs. I applied for several scholarships in the UK also but none of them have been successful.
Sir, I believe that hardworking pays and it is because of this that I do not want to give up on my aspirations. Therefore, this is my most humble request to you to kindly help me with the funding. If given a chance, I do assure you of my academic excellence.
