MARSHA sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
Good afternoon Mr. Fields.
My name is Marsha. I am a second generation Ford owner. In 2012 I purchased my 7th Ford, a FORD FOCUS hatchback. I chose this vehicle for the good gas mileage.as I transport grandchildren to and from school. I was very happy with the performance of this car until I started to feel the transmission delaying on acceleration and then surging forward as I continue forward. There is also banging noises in reverse. Tomorrow will be my third visit to Tracy Calif. Ford dealership to FIX this issue. I have also called Ford Customer Support. My case. Have had a person named Nicole Kenny text me. I have return text her, called her,and emailed her to NO avail. I have stopped using this car to transport my grandchildren. I either use my husband's truck or I ask a friend. I won't risk something going wrong with them in the car. I don't drive it at night either . I am at a loss as what do do regarding this transmission. I don't think I should have to keep going back to Tracy Ford to put a bandaid on it every couple of months . I put $15,000 down and traded in my FORD F150 truck for this car. I need guidance on what to do to take care of this situation.
Thank you
Marsha
