Daniel sent a message to J. Paul Raines – Chief Executive Officer of GameStop Corporation – Email Address that said:

Mr. Raines,

I am contacting you regarding a disturbing experience I had with your company today. I stopped in to purchase a game and preorder a few others at your store in Delray Beach, FL.

When going to pay for my items I gave the manager my rewards card info and he looked it up and it would not work, I tried to pull up the rewards I had on my account and it also did not work. He gave me a number to call to sort out the issues.

The first rep. I spoke to was very cordial and told me that my account had been cancelled and all my rewards and points forfeited due to a violation of the terms and conditions, I asked for more info. and she said she could not provide the info. I asked to be connected to a supervisor. I was connected to Mary, Employee #C100700.

Mary was very rude and unhelpful, I explained the situation and she said " You violated the terms and conditions and you forfeited all your rights to your rewards and points". I asked how this could be since all I do is purchase games and never use my account except when I can use a special promotion. She said "you can look up the terms and conditions and see where you violated them. At this point I asked for her info. and told her I was going to contact the CEO to which she replied great please do so.

I would have never done business with your company again but the store manager was great, he signed me up for a new account and said he would see if he could get the issue resolved.

I had accrued almost 16,000 points and I am an avid gamer who usually preorders my games at your stores. However I can't believe I would have to forfeit all those points that I have been accruing over the last few years.

Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
