Kholiwe sent a message to Akio Toyoda President and CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation – email address that said:
Hi Mr Toyoda,
I know you must be busy with a million things. My dad was involved in a car accident last week and it was a Toyota single cab hilux. The car was not insured because he has recently lost his job and could not afford insurance with so many things going on in his life. I will not bore you with the details but he is not well and is feeling down. He loved his car. The Bible says ask and it shall be given to you and am asking that you help him out with a new car. It will be one thing less of all the things that are stressing him. He needs some hope in his life at the present moment. But if you can not do that them it is fine, it was worth the try.
