Hi Mdm, I would like to feedback about the recent case regards to my internet issue, it had been hassle for almost 16 days. Recently Internet intermittently disconnect, the optical terminal restarts by itself every 1 hour of usage of the internet. So i called 1688 which regards this issue customer service officer arrange technician to get my Optical terminal replace due to electrical fault.
After the Optical terminal were replace, problem still not solved but disconnect happen even frequently so i made a call to 1688 again 2nd time, technician came over to my house to get my modem/router replace along with fibre optic cable replaced too!. However after replacing the new component, everything seems to work fine for almost 3 hrs until night time the problem comes back again. It was 2 am i called back 1688 a customer service officer attended my call and advice me to monitor first so i monitor until 4 am. Nothing seems to be changing fault is still there.
So the next day i called 1688 to arrange the 3rd technical support to assist with this consequential fault and i requested to arrange on sunday but customer servicer officer said only available on weekday. And i told them that weekday i'm working as i had the video clip recorded on the Internet router issue so that i able to show to the technical support thats the reason why i insist to be appoint on sunday,
For the 2 weeks it was a hassle for me, I just feel useless due to the responsibility being pushed when i had encounter this problem, and for the past 2-3 yrs with service with singtel i had no internet issue at all. until recent case. And for bill payment i always paid on time whenever it had been sent to me.
I do hope if this internet issue is a island wide issue because when i enquire about this problem to customer service officer, they were unable to tell me if its the server issue or Singtel is going on with maintenance. I even begged to ask them to help me on checking but they insist to get the technical support to come to my house again to check again.
