David sent a message to James J. Murren – Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International – Email Address that said:
Hi,
I have recently checked out of your hotel, floor 15, room 404 under Mr Sayers, 6/9/16.
Myself and my new wife were in Las Vegas celebrating our honeymoon and chose to stay at the MGM Grand as it was such a special occasion, flying all the way from Scotland.
When we checked in I gave over my card to be charged the resort fees, which wasn't a problem, the problem came when i was notified by my bank that there wasn't enough money in the account to pay bills that were due. I immediately logged into my online digital banking to see i had been charged the resort fees twice.
It also shows it was refunded but i enquired about it when i was checking out to be told it takes a few days for the money to return. Money that shouldn't have left my account in the first place. I am angry that i have been left out of pocket and facing bank charges for being unable to pay bills, all because i was charged twice.
Another small problem, we had to ask for our room to be cleaned, it went 4 days without anyone coming in to give new towels etc.
We had a fantastic honeymoon but sadly that took the shine off a little.
Please could someone get back to me regarding my complaint.
Kind Regards
David
