James sent a message to Frederick W. Smith Founder, Chairman, and CEO, FedEx Corporation – email address that said:
Hello Sir,
My name is James . I was recently hired by a contract company to deliver packages to FedEx. Unfortunately, six years ago I was convicted of theft for over pumping .59 cents in gas due to an obvious miscommunication. This infraction was in no way malicious and I would like for my case to be heard. Is there anyway I can still be considered for this job? I've paid over a thousand dollars in fines and served my probation. I have a hard working resume and numerous character testimonies, both within your company and collegiate employees. I only want to make an honest wage. Thank you for you're time.
Sincerely,
James.
