Kathy sent a message to Michael L. Corbat CEO, Citigroup Inc. – email address that said:
Hello my name is Kathy. I have been a Citibank card holder for 28 years. I've had a good long standing credit history . Even though I may always hold a balance , payments have always been made on time. The reason for my email is that I'm having an issue with my mortgage co. that is a result of their doing and they are now trying to for close on my house. I reside in New York. My mortgage co is in California. This company has had several complaints filed against them as well as a class action lawsuit. I have now been forced to retain an attorney. Not only have they been uncooperative with me but my attorney as well. We have been dealing with a mediator and each and every time we submit paper work the mortgage company denies my modification. We last met on June 9th and once again I was denied a modification due to " fraud paychecks" . They have not provided any proof to myself or my lawyer. Carrington Mortgage Services has done nothing but play games. I've been a nurse for 28 years. I work for 2 large companies. My ex husband, who holds the mortgage with me works for a company as well. Neither one of us writes our own checks. I do not know how they came up with fraud. I am now forced to go to court to save my house. I was hoping that since I've been a good customer for 28 years if it was possible to get some kind of letter that I could provide to the judge stating that I Have a good credit history with Citibank and that I make my payments on time. I have no outstanding loans or delinquencies on my credit report. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank You Kathy
