David sent a message to Greg Creed – Chief Executive Officer of Yum Brands – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Creed,
I have been a happy customer of Taco Bell for a long time but would like to share one of the most disappointing experience that I have had at Taco Bell tonight.
I went to Taco Bell Store on 40660 Grimmer Blvd, Fremont CA tonight and ordered a beefy crunch box at 9:48PM. I stood in front of the counter and waited for 30 plus mins. During the time I waited there was no one attending the cash register. About 5 customers came and they each had to wait for 5+ mins before the workers from the back acknowledged them and took their order. They said they were short handed, but I saw one worker talking to a customer (friend?) at the front and the others talking in the back while barely acknowledging anyone and processing orders very slowly.
I finally realized something was wrong when the person that ordered after me got his order before I did, and this was about 30 mins after I placed the order. I asked the lady (manger I suppose?) what happened and she said they gave my order to someone else. I wonder how that could be because I was standing in front of the counter the whole time and did not see them handing out my food anyone else. Frustrated and disappointed, I asked for a refund. The lady took my receipt, ripped off the top portion, and gave me the refund unwillingly. I asked for the receipt back so I can fill out the survey to share my experience but only to find out that she had ripped the survey code portion. This is why I am emailing you instead.
Mr. Creed, Taco Bell serves great food. I have grown up on Taco Bell, but because of my experience tonight I don’t think I will ever visit your establishment again.
Regards,
David
