Rick sent a message to Donald W. Slager – Chief Executive Officer and President of Republic Services, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Mr. Slager, thank you in advance for your time, I am hoping you can help me. I am in the process of purchasing a home. To my complete shock, my mortgage company informed me that my credit score was much lower than what I thought and it was due to a collection from Republic Service placed on my credit report in June of 2015. I was completely caught off guard when I learned this, as I am very conscious of my credit and guard if very diligent. I have no knowledge of ever having service with Republic Services as I have been in Florida for 6 years and my trash removal is paid through my taxes. The collection company told me this is for Coggins Point Road in Prince George VA, which is a property my deceased father in law owned that I lived at for 3 months during transition to Florida. I was allowed to stay at this property and did not pay rent or utilities. I called Republic Services on Thursday and spoke with “Donna” and she said she saw no record of me having service with your company. If I had service with Republic, I am baffled why all my other mail/bills were forwarded to my Florida address but I never received one from Republic, if I would have, I can assure you it would have been paid. If you can show that I ever owed it, I will get it paid. As you can imagine after seeing my credit score drop from 820 to 709, I am doing all I can to correct this as I have NEVER been late or delinquent on a bill. Mr. Slager, I am asking you to help me by contacting the collection agency ASAP and authorizing them to release this collection from my credit report. I would be completely grateful to you. If you could do this ASAP, so this will not delay my home purchase. Please let me know once this has been done. The collection company is:

Mr. Slager, thank you again for your understanding.
