I would like to share my experience over a $12.86 item. I have already called and spoke with Customer Service 4 times. I don't know whether to cry, laugh it off, contact the Newspaper, BBB or swear to never shop at JC Penny again. At this point it is the "principal" of the thing because the money out is the not issue. I have spent a lot of time on this problem and I work full time and my time is valuable. I ordered a "DUET DOUBLE BEVERAGE CLEAR ONE SIZE " as part of order on April 27, 2106. It arrived shattered on May 2, 2016. I called right away. I could tell it was in a lot of glass pieces and did not even attempt to open the inside box because of the danger with small pieces of glass. I was told a new shipment would be sent and to dispose of the broken glass item. I called again on Memorial Day and spoke with Customer Service. This lady was very unprofessional. My guess is because I made the mistake of calling on a Holiday and your top staff do not work on Holidays. She told me the "tickets" were still sitting there and to call again on Tuesday. I called again on Tuesday as this was for a large Open House for my daughter's graduation on June 5, 2106 and I really needed it or I needed to make a trip to buy one at the store. I was told it would be two-day shipped and I WOULD have it in time. It did not arrive! I called again because my credit card was charged for a replacement order So, after calling four times, I still do not have an item I ordered in April and I have paid for the item. To add to the frustraion, I had to run out at the last minute to buy a replacement drink server at Wal-Mart. Please share this experience with Corporate Management. This is very frustrating to say the least. I am available if you need any more information .
