Dear Mr. Jelinek, Hello my name is Jeff emailing in regards of my – W Craig Jelinek email address

Jeff sent a message to W. Craig Jelinek – President and Chief Executive Officer of Costco Wholesale Corporation email address that said:

Dear Mr. Jelinek,

Hello my name is Jeff Billington emailing in regards of my wife Jackie Billington. A month or so ago my wife, Jackie, applied online to get employment to the new Costco store in Greenwood, Indiana opening Next week June 23rd. After a week or more she received a call for an interview and in return did the interview with positive feedback. A couple days had passed when she called to check on her status and was told to come in again for another interview, that they had lost her application in the process. For a second time she interviewed, passed a drug screening and after a couple of days passed the background check- she was then welcomed to the Costco family! Fast forward a week or two and Jackie attended orientation(Saturday June 11), took what documents she was told to bring and complete tied the day. The only issue was that for her picture ID she had to present a paper ID with photo due to last Thursday, June 9th, our house was burglarized and one of the several items taken was her billfold which she had her drivers license/photo ID inside. Friday the following morning she went to the license branch to get a new ID but what they gave her was a temporary photo ID until her actual one she would receive in the mail, 7 to 10 business days; as of today, Wednesday June 15th, she still hasnt received it. She attended a training seminar Tuesday (yesterday) and then this morning went to the Costco store to do more training when she was told by a supervisor that she no longer was a Costco employee due to not having the proper ID. My wife is absolutely devastated and heartbroken to tears. She was also told that a supervisor hadcalledladt weekend leaving a message that she needed the proper ID and had a 3day timeframe to get it in, unfortunately my wife didnt get the message. I'm not trying to make excuses but please understand my wife was ecstatic with tears of joy to get this job. In no way would she ever ignore such a message and even if she were to get the message she wouldnt have the real photo ID until she receives in the mail. Again my wife is really upset over this and I am heartbroken for her too, she really looked forward to this. This afternoon she called to see if any thing could be done crying on the phone, the supervisor told her to reapply and then told my wife to quit harassing them. My wife is a harmless caring person that only wants to be part of something that made her feel good about herself and made our 9 year old son Bryce happy and proud of his mom! I feel like my wife got a bad bad break due to an unfortunate circumstance and some misunde standings. Im praying and hoping youll get it his message before you attend a he grand opening next week and I hope your visit to Indianapolis is a pleasant one! Im not wishing any ill will or meaning anything else other than a hopeful reconsideration for my wife. This employment had meant a lot to her especially being a family oriented company. My wife is a very family oriented person that is truly heartbroken over this. Thank you for your time and I hope this message to you can be of some really needed help in any way. God Bless to you and yours- Jeff , Indianapolis. Here is my number if it's possible you can talk:  and my wife, Jackie, who needs some understanding over this . Again, thanks for your time and God Bless, and Congrats on your new opening!
