Good afternoon Mr Toyoda,
My name is Michael I am a loyal customer of Toyota plano for the past 19 years ! We never had a problem repairing our cars at this location until recently the past 2 visits, but the last visit topped off and it needed to be addressed ! I brought my car in for oil change my advisor Arthur was occupied at the time a different advisor checked me in , then Arthur flagged me and told to come look at the car before they take in and at the time he claimed that upon turning the car on he heard a noise of some sort and I replied to him I drive my car daily and did not hear a noise at all so I had him turned off and turn it back on no noise but he suggested to check it out anyway to make sure everything is ok ! Then he came back later stating that I need a water pump for $805 I need oil pan assembly because the bolt is stripped and the gasket is leaking , no leak on my garage floor at home even when I brought it back the time before no one said nothing about the bolt is stripped, then he said the my rear pad need to be replaced for $366 and I had a light out in my tail light he said the unit was melted and it need replaced for $361 and when I came back on Friday the estimate for the tail light was less by $70 ! I took my car somewhere else and the only that Arthur was right about is the breaks all the other stuff we're not true and to me as a customer for 19 years I have a big problem with his integrity and work ethic because telling and charging his customer for thing don't need to be change that is not right and I lost faith in this dealership to repair my cars I don't like to be taking advantage of or being lied to . I reached out to Doug and Mitch but I got no results to get my money refunded I am reaching out to you as my last outlet to resolve this issue before I reached to the executive of Toyota because you represent the Toyota reputation and brand and if I need to get channel 11 to investigate and expose what is happening at Toyota plano I will because if it happening to me I am sure it is happening to other guests ! In addition even the estimate for every part the he put on his quote it was higher because I walked in to the part department and they gave me the estimate it was higher which it should not ! I hope I hear from you soon. Furthermore, even the quote that he gave for my car to be fixed was incorrect he told me my car will be done by 3 PM and then came back by 1.30 and said my car was done and it was 1.30PM not sure why he even charged me for all that labor. Mr Toyoda i am writing this email to you after i got no results from Toyota plano, they are saying that the bolt was stripped or it was tight from the previous oil change and when he was trying to release it broke in the process. In conclusion, we bought all our car from Toyota and my other family members as well for the past 19 years and we are loyal customers of Toyota and to be treated this way and lied to that is unaccepatable because by conducting themselves as such they are giving the Toyota Brand a bad name.
