Eugenia sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr O´Leary,
My name is Eugenia and I am a Spanish and European citizen concerned about the political situation that we currently have in the European Union.
I would like to know if you plan on adding new flights for the route Brussels CHARL (BE) - Santander (ES) for the weeked of the next Spanish legislative elections (24-26/06/2016). The current advertised prices are sky high for the average Spaniard and however I would still like to go to Spain to exert my right of vote. Unfortunately Spain requests its citizens abroad to explicitly request the right of vote and the control system applied to this procedure does not guarantee the principle of secrecy that democracies are considered to follow regarding the right of vote of their citizens.
I would greatly appreciate it if you facilitated the return of the some two million Spaniards living in Europe to go and have their say in the legislative elctions of the country by increasing the number of available Ryanair flights and decreasing the average price range (you make enough profit during the rest of the year, you can contribute a little to the cause of Europe by contributing to the cause of Spain and Great Britain and France and Germany next year).
Thank you very much in advance for your time and for considering my request.
With best regards,
Eugenia
