What is going on with the new COSTCO Visa cards. I phoned and activated my – W Craig Jelinek email address

What is going on with the new COSTCO Visa cards. I phoned and activated my card 6/10/16. I went to use it yesterday 6/20/16. It showed INVALID CARD! I was allowed to purchase gasoline. However, when I went inside and took my purchases to check out, it would not accept my card and the clerk told me it was INVALID. The manager, I assume, came over and he approved my card and I made the purchase. However, talk about embarrassment. I have tried for 2 days to contact CITI VISA and cannot get them to take my call. Therefore, I'm not able to use my card at COSTCO. I realize there are glitches in a new system, but COSTCO and CITI CARD have had more than ample time to get this change over perfected. Now, my husband will not use his card for fear it is also INVALID. That has forced him to shop elsewhere. If I cannot reach CITI card to get this straightened out, where do I go from here? This is extremely frustrating. Answer, PLEASE!
