Paul sent a message to James E. Meyer CEO, Sirius XM Radio Inc. – email address that said:
Jim, would love to believe this will actually make it to you. That being said, not sure you remember the days, not that long ago, when effectively, I worked for you and Joe Clayton. My position, RSM Northeast for TCE in the garden spot of the US market, NY. Yes, who can forget you lambasting me at a yearly national meeting after I left Thomson to go to Sony and quickly returned. I deserved it, you knew it, I still have it on tape...priceless. If you can, turn the clock back to one of the first Region Reviews you and Joe conducted in Indy. I was warned, a week before by our NY Ops Mgr, 'not to be myself' in front of you. Not having a clue what that meant, I traveled to that meeting with my smart ass NY attitude at full mast. You opened up the meeting, I sat back in awe and knew immediately to cool my jets. I never met anyone...Sony, TCE, RCA or GE that commanded a room like you. So here it is. I thought Joe Clayton was a great leader. He was. I think you're the smartest guy I have met in business. It was an honor to be in your company.
