Jennifer sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. – Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Banks – Email Address that said:

I wanted to take a few minutes to let you know what an awful experience I had with rewards customer service today. I am also a Rewards Specialist with Capital One, If I treated my customers they way your two agents treated me I would be fired. Your company doesn't seem to care about your customers at all.

I called for a simple request, I bought gas for my boat and spent $223.50 and expected to receive 5 percent cash back and to my surprise I only received 1 percent. I then called to ask for an adjustment and instead got nothing but attitude. I was told it did not code as gas even though it clearly states fuel, I understand that merchant all code differently. However, at Capital One we make concessions for our loyal customers. I was disappointed when your agent acted like I did something wrong and said you guys don't make concessions.
I will not be promoting your card and am now thinking of moving my bank account to another bank as well.
