Nathan sent a message to W. Craig Jelinek – President and Chief Executive Officer of Costco Wholesale Corporation email address that said:
I am a longtime member and huge fan of Costco, but I must say that this transition is a fiasco. The chaos and unresponsiveness of Citi is way beneath your sterling brand and reputation. They had enough time to prepare for this transition and they messed it up big time. I am questioning their ability to run this program smoothly in the future. Most of all Citi don't seem to care. If they did they would have put people in place immediately to correct the problem.
