Evelyn sent a message to Kelly S. King – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BBT Corporation – Email Address that said:
I am interviewing Banks to decide where and when I will transfer all my accounts from BBT. "OUR FOCUS ON YOU" does not ring true to me. The main reason for my withdrawal is the fact that you have no consideration for people who do not own or know how to access a computer for all their banking needs and you penalize and charge them $3 for a monthly paper statement that most likely costs you .50 to produce and mail. You want to force customers to your way of doing business, while using their money to gain your profits, and not provide a service that is convenient for the customer. I prefer NOT to do on banking and will not pay $3 . You probably do not care what i think but thank you for allowing me to express my dissatisfaction.
