Mr. Stack, Wish that I did not need to email you, but unfortunately circumstances make – Edward W Stack email address

Richard sent a message to Edward W. Stack – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods – Email Address that said:

Mr. Stack,

Wish that I did not need to email you, but unfortunately circumstances make this necessary. I am a business owner and understand the meaning of a happy client. It seems that Dick's Sporting Goods does not understand this.

I ordered a Trampoline online for my 5 and 8 yr old children. When delivered, the boxes were destroyed. When I contacted Dick's about this, i was told that it would take 3-8 business days to pick up, We are not talking about socks or pants, we are talking about a trampoline. I am not storage unit that holds broken merchandise. I finally got a supervisor on the phone and she agreed to credit me $200 toward the replacement. I then received the replacement shipment and once again the boxes were damaged. My child are extremely disappointed considering it is their birthday weekend (Party) and no trampoline. I told the latest supervisor that i will go and pick one up from your retail store and was told that I would no longer get the discount.

I am blown away by not only the lack of caring, but the policies and procedures you have put in place at this company. Not only will I never shop at Dick's, but as i mentioned to the representative, who told me that it will take 24-48 hours for another person to call me back, that if UPS is not at my door by morning, they can pick the package up at the curb.

I would love to get your thoughts on this, but i am not holding my breathe considering the responses i have received so far.

Extremely disappointed.

RIchard
