Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to ask for your help with my family’s insurance policy – Eric H Schultz email address

Edward sent a message to Eric H. Schultz President and CEO, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care – email address that said:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to ask for your help with my family's insurance policy. Its current state is that of a frustrating mess and I am having trouble solving this over the phone.

Because Harvard Pilgrim (HP) listed the incorrect PCP for my son (John) and for me (Edward), the following has recently occurred:
1) My son's healthcare was not correctly reimbursed, costing me hundreds of dollars more than it should have. We're wading our way through that mess with his doctor's office (HP backdated the PCP info).
2) I am fighting with BIDMC/Milton regarding a referral and insurance reimbursement for a recent appointment with a specialist.

Because the wrong PCP was listed on your records (I've had the same doctor for years), the hospital wants to charge me more than it should for my appointment with the specialist. HP told me it can't backdate the update with the PCP. Really? You did it for my son (see #1, above). And HP admitted this was their fault.

Because the backdating hasn't taken place, the hospital can't submit the claim. So, I’ve got HP is asking me to call the hospital (I did), to have it submit the claim. And the hospital won’t do so until HP backdates the claim.
So, now we have a Catch 22 situation.

I appreciate your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Edward
