Mr. Lampert;
All six major appliances in our household currently are Kenmore and all of our lawn and hardware tools are Craftsman items. Throughout our married life we have repeatedly bought dishwashers, fridges and freezers, washer and dryers, microwaves, etc. for 30 years now.
We have formerly been happy and satisfied with our Sears purchases (appliances, etc.) however we are very dissatisfied with our more recent lawn and garden purchase in the way of our lawn mower/s.
We purchased a Craftsman Pro Series lawn mower on March 12, 2017 with an extended warranty. It should be noted that we normally never buy extended warranties but did so in this case.
This lawn mower went into the shop as it stopped working on May 14th and work was completed on May 25th.
It went back into the shop on July 2nd and we called regarding the status yesterday (July 6th) and they have not had the time to look at it as of yet.

Fearing we would need a second lawnmower we bought a second mower and it too broke down two days after purchasing. We did not mess with the repair shop and returned the item directly back to Sears. We returned this second mower to Sears on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Sadly many of our friends, relatives, and associates have told us that the Sear brands have lost much of their quality for which they were once known. However, we are determined to remain loyal.
We are requesting a refund of the original purchase price of the March 12th purchase (price + extended warranty). The receipt is attached to this letter. We want to return the lawn mower purchased on March 12th, 2016 directly to our local Sears store.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Melissa
