Robert sent a message to Michael A. Brown – President and Chief Executive Officer of Symantec Corporation – Email Address that said:
I am a nine (9) year plus client of Norton and a computer novice. Currently, I am looking for a new security provider for my internet service needs. This because of a very unpleasant experience with one of your technical reps.. His name is Mr. Sharma (I may have the first and last name reversed)
My home WIFI network became corrupted and I called Norton for assistance. I am disabled, so for convenience purposes, I have five (5) computers on my home network. Unfortunately for my sake, your Mr Girish answered the telephone.
He proceeded to tell me all the things Norton did not do, as opposed to what Norton did do. He said that Norton did not prevent virus corruption of my home network! If that is the case, what have I been paying for all these years?
During our conversation, Mr. Girish was extremely condescending, overbearing, sarcastic and totally unsolicitous.
Thank you for nine (9) years of nothing.
