William sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:
We were due to fly out with Ryanair on the 31/5/2016 on flight BIY1TY but had to cancel as my father in law passed away. I went on line to your chat line and asked for information on what I should do,all this was straight forward no problem . Now this is were the problems start. I went on line to the web site and filled the boxes and added the copy of the death certificate, a little later in the week I received a email asking my relationship with the deceased in which I tried to reply to but couldn't as it is automatic system so on line I go looking for a web site to reply too but no joy, what next a phone call that should do it but no the operator just ignore what I was saying and just kept repeat herself you have to go to web site,so after 20 minutes frustrated I put the phone down and with in 10 seconds received not 1but 5 emails saying my case was dealt with and now close. Thinking that I was about to get a refund but no. So onto chat line again same information again and told I would get a email on Monday 27/6/16 but no so I get back on line find the web site for complaints and email your staff telling them that I would like to know if I am getting my refund and got a reply the next day but only because I wrote on the email that I would get in touch with you. They ask for the same information yet again to which I replied and I am still waiting. You where on the Jeremy Vine show same time back and said something like you would make sure that Ryanair customers would get a better service will we are all still waiting
Yours sincerely
William
