Jesus you guys suck. (ok; i feel better already). You bought out Deffenbaugh in the greater Kansas City area and we received a card in the mail last week saying that our collection day had been changed from Wednesday to Monday -- starting 7-11-16. We put out our trash and recyclables and yard waste Monday morning. Our trash is still standing at the curb after 4 days in the excessive heat (the other was picked up). This problem affects several square blocks if not miles. I suppose somewhere a logistics analyst is patting themselves on the back that they saw a significant reduction in the number of trucks being used this week -- DUH! I'm in 66207 area code 10020 Juniper LN, Overland Park, KS and i'm only one of HUNDREDS of people impacted. I was promised over the phone today that MY trash would be picked up (it hasn't been) but that "we're not sure if we can get to the rest of your neighborhood" (it's not just MY neighborhood but numerous other subdivisions as well that are impacted). I look forward to a billing credit for not only myself, but everyone else in the surrounding area, for suffering through this obvious SNAFU. By the way, summer is not the best time to change pickup times -- I reference the salmon skins and leftovers in my bin which has been in the sun/heat for 4+ days now; not looking forward to scrubbing that smell out EVENTUALLY (assuming this gets picked up by NEXT MONDAY -- although I have no faith that it will be since your call center seemed to have no idea that an entire area had been missed during this change-over.
