Richard sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear CEO,
Please pass on my sincere appreciation to Ms Tania (Ter) in your Massachusetts Call Center. It was my third try to get my no signal problem fixed in 2 days.
I told Tania the code that was coming up on the television. She knew exactly what the problem was. She instructed me to reconnect the cable and that is when I noticed I had 2 cables. I had the inactivate cable in the cable box. PROBLEM FIXED!!
It is amazing that it took me three calls or representatives to know what the code was. Glad I stayed devoted to getting a top-notch representative on the phone as my service call was not until Thursday (3 days). Please pass on my KUDOS to Ms Tania (Ter). She was very professional and knew her expertise.
Also, while I got your attention, I want to pass on my disappointment that I was paying for a HD box and still had my initial digital box. NO ONE AT CHARTER TOLD ME TO UPGRADE TO THE HD BOX.
I went to the Newnan store (#130) on Monday and they told me to bring in my old digital box and exchange it for a HD box. I got a new 4K TV and wanted the latest HD box. CHARTER SHOULD HAVE NOTIFIED ALL DIGITAL BOX HOLDERS ABOUT THE CHANGE TO HD BOXES AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.
I REQUEST A REIMBURSEMENT FOR CHARTERS FAILURE TO INFORM CUSTOMERS ABOUT THIS DIGITAL/HD SWITCH OUT. When did it happen and why was I not informed.
Sincerely,
Richard
PS: Thomas please let me know you got this.
