TIFFANY sent a message to Julia Stewart – Chairman and CEO, DineEquity, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Ms. Stewart,
I am emailing you because I am concerned about the IHOP restaurants. This was a place that I enjoyed going to for years and I have become more and more disappointed each time I go eat at one of the IHOP locations. There needs to be a change to the menu and pricing at these restaurants or the image will continue to decline. The idea that IHOP is now just as expensive as any other place to eat destroys the once loved cafe experience we all remember growing up. I have been to several locations over the past two years and each time, at each one the restaurant was dirty. The staff is very slow and the food is terrible. I will not ever go to another IHOP unless things change. I have talked with other people that have the same outlook about IHOP as I do. It is not ethical to have such high prices for this place, A person could go eat at Cotton Patch for better prices and food and it is a much more respectable place to eat. I would like to add, Applebees is not doing much better. I stopped going there a long time ago. Every Applebees I have been to, take forever to get served. I hope to see a change in these two places soon.
Thank you. I hope this helps .
