Jerold sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
I do not normally waste my time filing a complaint, but I am so angry with Charter Cable TV in Belleville, IL that I feel I should explain before I move to the Dish Network. If I were president of Charter, I would fire everyone from the top to bottom that had anything to do with the recent "upgrade". Since the "upgrade", TV service has been terrible with the following problems:
1. While watching an "on demand" selection, the program crashes and one must start over without the ability to fast forward to where it was interrupted.
2. At unexpected intervals, the control box stops and reboots and resets to channel 2. If this happens while recording a program, the recording is lost.
3. Audio is now poor and quieter than previously requiring an external amp to really have acceptable audio.
4. Changing channels is slow and often results in a screen saying the channel is unavailable.
I am a retired engineer, and if I designed such a poor product I would change occupations before I was fired.
